Mr. Scott Piper

Mr. Piper comes to Coolidge Jr./Sr. High school with over seven years of teaching experience. This year Professor Piper will be teaching Philosophy 101, which is a dual-enrollment course with University of Arizona; and he will be teaching Spanish in the Foreign Language department.

Mr. Piper works for Coolidge Schools while finishing his Doctorate of Philosophy in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Grand Canyon University. He earned his Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education from Brigham Youn University-Idaho. He is Highly Qualified in and Certified with endorsements to teach Social Studies (History, Geography, Government, Economics, Sociology, Psychology 6-12) and Spanish.

While with Coolidge Schools, he has coached Cross Country, Girls Basketball, and Track and Field. Also, for the past five and a half years he has been the Teacher's Union president. 

Before landing what he calls his "Dream Career" he was employed as a Recreation Program Specialist for students K-6.
